Children need encouragement in their life and if this comes from their parents, they can do really fine in so many fields viz. Sports, education, or any other activity. Helping them realize the less expectation theory and accepting failure and keeping the right attitude towards social problems or can be anything. Encouraging them to do good in studies and learning rather than just getting good grades. Praising them for their little steps and achievements. Encouraging them to listen more and focus on what teachers are teaching in class than talking more.
10. Taking break is important
A company (friend, classmate, neighbor) to study with him would be a great option too. You can make them engage in interesting activities like shrinky drinks. Get comfortable with him taking shorts breaks and doing stuff like
