How is triple science GCSE is different from double science GCSE?

Every year, students across the country are puzzled by the options for the Science GCSEs. There are generally two types of science GCSE i.e Triple and double GCSE. Double Science GCSE  is also sometimes called ‘Combined Science.’
In double science, you will be studying all the science subjects including biology, physics, and chemistry. However, you will only receive two GCSEs for it. Whereas in Triple Science you will be taking up three separate GCSEs: Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. Though you will be studying the same subjects in both the GCSE, two-thirds of the Triple Award Science content is covered in this course.
